Amazon prime on Android tv?

by death_iscoming

I am sorry if this question has been asked before but Prime isn't available on play store and it's not installing from aptoide?

Can anyone suggest any working so I don't have to cast from my phone?

Answer to same question you asked.

That's one of many ways to do it, Google to find others.

TL:DR Sideload Amazon Prime Video.

Hi, Prime Video is Available on Play Store for many of the Android TVs/Box, but possible that it's not supported for the Mi Box you are using.

The best way is to sideload from AptoideTV, but am not sure why it isn't working for you. What error does it show? Another alternative method is to view from browser.

  1. Sideload Chrome/Firefox on your TV. If you are unable to find on AptoideTV, download the apk on your phone and use "Send Files to TV" for transferring them to TV.
  2. Connect a Mouse to you Mi Box/TV.
  3. Open the Browser and visit "primevideo.com"
  4. You can bookmark the page for easy access every time.

It’s possible to get it on Android tv but man is it a shitty app. If you pause and leave it for too long, the whole app closes out and you have to start over. It seems amazon doesn’t care about polishing the app for Android because its been like this forever for me

It is also available on the Aptoide store, if you sideload that.

The device has to be approved by Amazon.

Aptoide is risky.

Amazon prime both mobile and tv version are available on apkpure.
Both successfully installed on my Toshiba tv.

My brother has Sony and he has never had issue with Amazon prime app. It came pre installed for him. Meanwhile I was miserably failing testing many variation of sideloaded Amazon app.. as once upon a Time it used to work on my TV but stopped.

Anyway glad I stumbled on the apkpure Amazon video app and it works.

I've got Amazon Prime on my AndroidTV-based Sony Bravia so I don't know what you're talking about
