Why I cannot get Netflix work on my Mi box 3

I just bought yesterday, my Mi Box is a Korean version with telebee logo on the package. When I install it on Google play, it pops out a dialog that this box is not optimized for Netflix. When I clicked into the app, it indicated the dialog again, then it popped up another dialog saying this device is not compatible with this version of app, clicked ok, and exit.

Here is some context, I'm in China using VPN to watch Netflix, but the VPN is working just fine, I can log in Nordstorm.com , which indicates I should watch Netflix just fine, so anyone plz tell me whether the Korean version supports Netflix or not?

Well try installling "DRM info" app and check if widevine is l1 level or provide a screenshot

What is current build installed?

What is your current language setting? ???

You may need to change language to match your VPN country.

Telebee branded versions of mdz-16-ab came stock with Nougat build 1971 localized to Korea.

You must manually flash latest Oreo 8.0 from an update.zip file using instructions found in this subreddit.

Once flashed, it is a true international box.

Netflix is very capable to sense a VPN in use.

You may need to use another resource to watch Netflix content,

Normally not an issue for MiBox 3 running international Oreo 8.0, aside from your VPN issues.
