Mi Box issues

With all the issues with the Mi Box S, is the issue with the update or are there apps missing an updated API for 9?

I have 2 Mi Box S. Both have hulu issues and I cannot get Facebook watch to load videos.

Unrelated, I have a 1st Gen Mi Box, and the updated Hulu freezes on commercial breaks.

I'd like to see this community rise up and bombard either Xioami or Hulu with complaints and maybe we can get something fixed asap.

I still having MI BOX S running on 8.1 . Hulu works fine there. The UI is laggy but the video plays fine.

I do know some apps(e.g.Prime video) were likely have its own issue.

My main issue was the on screen keyboard not working and it not scaling 720p video from my HDHomeRun regardless of app (Live Channels, Plex, VLC). So for me it wasn't an app issue at all, but something with the update.

I exchanged it for a non-upgraded box and haven't had any issues on 8.1

I have the same issues with Hulu freezing on commercial breaks. So annoying. I only cast Hulu now and it works fine.
