Trying to very nvidia shield pro locally...

by Rotaryknight

So I'm trying to get one locally but no electronic store carries one....at all in or near philadelphia. All they carry is the shield tv tubular model. Now, all i want to do is steamlink and emulators. Will the shield tv work just fine for me? Main reason why i wanted the pro was the usb ports so i can attach my external drive which has all my roms (ps1, snes, n64 and such). It will also work secondarily as my media hub for my tv.

So, is it just me or is the shield pro prices high? I'm seeing them for $300 on amazon and bestbuy is out of stock online. Nvidia has it out of stock also

Personally I would wait and get the pro... You may decide that you want to use a wired keyboard and mouse, or wired controllers in the future... Then you'll be pissed that you didn't get the model with USB ports.
