TV resolution

Hi, not related purely to android - but still my device is an android tv

Bought a TCL ES58 - https://tcl.com/content/tcl-eu-site/en/new-product-list/es58/32---hd-hdr-tv-powered-by-android-tv.html

It is supposed to be a half HD TV or "HD ready" - 1366x768

However I connected my PC and it shows as 1080p for HDMI devices

My question is where is it up to 1366x768 ? the antenna? anything within android?

My IPTV app shows full HD for some channels and SD for some others - how do I know if it's really showing in HD (not that I care too much)

1366x768 is the physical resolution, the TV cannot display more than 1366x768 pixels but it can take higher res input and downscale it.

Just checking. Are you under the assumption that HDR stands for HD Ready? Because that is something different.
