Best Android TV bow under 70$ ?

I use the Mii Box S in my bedroom. I like it a lot, I know a lot of people have complained about performance after the recent update but mine has been fine. I have experienced a few times it just restarted on me but overall it's been fine. I don't use it on a main TV though. I use a Shield Pro on my main TVs but they cost a bit more than $70.

I love my Verizon Stream TV. That one comes in right at $70.

Jetstream 4K is pretty good. Seems to be just like the mi box but has a ethernet port.

If you do not need USB support the Verizon Stream TV.

It‘s a more powerful box (S905X2 chipset) vs the 2016 era Mi Boxes S905X

The soon to be released TiVo Stream 4K might yet be the best budget Android TV device this year. It‘s got that great TiVo Peanut remote:

Either Mii box or amazon stick 4k.

I have 3 mibox s they run good love Android TV and chrome cast, Las week Walmart had it for 29.99

Mi box s -it's great for 29.

I kept reading about the debate if upgrading to A9 ruins it, so I bought another one just to try. Yep it breaks live tv just like some said. Everything else appeared fine in my limited testing. I sent it back right away and got another one while it was still on sale. It came in today and works fine, but I am not upgrading it to 9. If you don't intend to use it for live tv, you might be fine upgrading it...but make sure you are in your return window if you do.

Real debrid is an add on to kodi which has cached torrent files (paid service)

I wonder why android phones with HDMi output don't an easy to use TV mode and resolutions flexibility, could be cool.

I got my SlingTV Air mini for $50 on eBay if you're in the sling ecosystem. Even if you're not, you can still use it as an Android TV dongle. I use that in my computer room. It beats the hell out of the sluggish Roku TV that's built in! But if you can save up $150+tax then the shield tube (2019) is pretty cool!

I picked up a Hisense 32" tv with Android tv built in for $80 at Best Buy on Black Friday. I absolutely love this thing

does that count?

Big fan of Amazon’s FireTV 4K stick. My MiBox/x900e interfaces have been crawling lately, and can’t beat the $35 price point on Prime Day/Black Friday

Seems to me if you're not going to get a Shield that your best bet is a Roku.

Others may disagree.
