If it is a free app, then I'd suggest sending the developers an email!
I've tried installing on my shield but it says no item found, I've tried using it abrowser but it says not item found and I can't find a link for this anywhere?
Just download it on your phone, and use APK extractor to get the file.
I can't even find the app in the Play store on PC, and when I go on the XDA thread you linked which has links to the page, Google Play not found meaning it may have been removed. Can't see it on APKMirror or APKPure either and those two places would be the only ones I'd trust to download from outside the Play store.
Unless someone has backed it up, you may have to find an alternative app instead.
