Turn on HDMI cec in settings
I have the same issue too, all this apps and junk all worked fine on android 8. There is something in the background which is using up the CPU/memory. i see the same issue with no apps from the app store, after a factory reset. I also have noticed the range of remote has decreased. Have tried brand new batteries as well.
Perform a factory reset, then debloat it. Remove every preinstalled app that you do not use every day. You will need to use adb to fully debloat it as some system apps cannot be uninstalled without it. Then remove all of the home screen eye candy that’s below you apps row. It is this that slows this device down drastically. Scroll to the bottom of the home screen, click on the customize button and turn off everything.
Once you do these things, this mibox will be faster and snappier than ever before.
