Just got the new ADT-3 AndroidTV which has a volume up/down button. I assume that means it has an IR Blaster. Any idea how to pair it to my TV?

I don't know about how to pair, but you can test whether it has IR by pointing the front of the remote to a camera. If it has IR, it will show up in the camera as a reddish LED.
It doesn't have an IR blaster, it does HDMI CEC. If your TV supports it, it will work well. Many TVs unfortunately don't support the spec correctly so YMMV.
Possibly, its sending HDMI-CEC messages instead of IR.
