Based on this article from Android Police, no guarantee that Netflix or Amazon prime will be supported. I don't think it makes sense for normal consumers
The device is not intended for consumer use and should only be used by developers.
that means: no netflix, no hulu, or other DRM streaming services. you're better off with Xiaomi Mi Box S
That thing looks LITTLE.
Also, why are all the remotes looking the same?
I would not buy a device like that for daily usage. If app compatibility break, you are on your own.
Don't know for sure but it's made for developers to test their apps not consumers
AMLogic S905Y2 means we can expect HDMI 2.1 and wide codec support.
Meh it's still using MicroUSB.
i was on board until it was over $100 total. are they still sending these out free to developers? i love my adt-2 but lack of updates sucks
I didn't expect "official public release" (I'm not sure how to say it correctly).
So I placed an order, got an order invoice over email but the site says it failed to charge. Anyone else have that issue? I don't want to do it again and endup with two.
Could never find the ADT-2 for sale, ordered an ADT-3 for science, but not a great device for consumer use.
Anyone who purchased an ADT-2 does netflix and other streaming apps work on the device? Or is it one of those if its not on an approved list none of the apps worth having work.
