I recently purchased a VANKYO MatrixBox X95 Max 4K and so far everything is relatively good. I'm brand new to all of this and don't know anything about sideloading. Googling the answer is a confusing mess of outdated articles. I also don't know the correct terminology to get the specific answer I'm looking for.
Here is my question: Is it possible to install a Amazon app store only app onto a Android TV? This is the app

Thanks in advance.
Yes...you need to sideload via a USB port. Fire Sticks run on a modified version of Android TV with the Amazon play store instead of the Google Play store, because they are competitors. This kind gentleman on the XDA forums has been running an unofficial repository of exclusive apps to sideload to different devices.

So basically: Frndly, STIRR, TVG, AT&T Now/AT&T Watch TV apps for Android TV boxes.
Locast apps for Android smart TVs where they aren't available.
Amazon Prime Video app from the NVidia Shield for other Android TV boxes like the Jetstream.
All you need to do is download the app of your choice to a USB stick, then place the USB drive with an app like FX file explorer and install it from the device.
