Does anyone have a safe link where I can download an original copy of the android 9 firmware (not beta 3) for the mibox s.
Updated OTA to android 9 on my mibox s yesterday, but after a factory reset the mibox is now seems not working properly.
I would like to try and reinstall the firmware, if possible, to see if that would correct all the problems I'm having especially the on screen keyboard which does not show anymore.
Not google, the xiaomi mibox s version for android 9. Yesterday they pushed an ota update from 8.1 to 9. the onscreen keyboard was working but I made a factory reset and now the onscreen keyboard is not working
I would like to reinstall the firmware to see if it fixes this basic function.
Guys, yesterday's release is beta 3 and was released by accident... Just use the zip from beta 3 to install again. Onscreen keyboard is working. If you have USB-Dongle for e.g. keyboard connected, then there are problems with onscreen keyboard. Just remove dongle and reboot.
After OTA PIE update the same thing happened to me and the keyboard problem was resolved after removing the wireless keyboard usb device. But I have a wifi inability to connect problem also.
I re-installed PIE beta 3 using usb trying to fix the wifi problem without success. I added a usb wifi adapter and the connection was regained but it keeps connect-disconnect cycle.
I believe that Google hasn't released the full version
