Its so bad. Had to uninstall chromecast updates for it to work. Hulu keeps stuttering. Smh cursing myself for updating.
Yep, unfortunately is the beta3 released by mistake..... a lot of bugs, especially with chromecast e bluetooth.
I am cursing myself for updating. Plex does not play media, HDMI CEC switches source when I am watching TV and my Bluetooth transmitter keeps wanting to pair with the Mi Box.
Lost the option of casting Google photos on backdrop after update. Do you know why? I already even made a factory reset.
Big problem, on screen keyboard does not work. After update from 8.1 to 9 everything was working. Did a factory reset and now on screen keyboard not working. Funnily if I install the Thai keyboard from the play store and select it in the gboard settings, then the english onscreen keyboard pops up. Only problem is I dont want a Thai keyboard app installed, did not need it before this useless android 9 update.
Big problem if factory reset the mibox cannot log into wifi, there is no onscreen keyboard and no ok button on the wifi connection page to confirm and accept login details.
Only issue i have found is that i can no longer set my custom launcher as default. And bluetooth is not working with my ps4 controller.
Reading through the comments I'm glad I didn't update when I saw it. This is always or mostly the same thing. A new version is released, new bugs have to be ironed out. I'm going to keep my TV on 8.1.0 for now. Thanks for your reports guys.

Found a bug. When I turn the TV off but leave the Mi Box on when I turn the TV back on the Mi Box doesn't display anything. I have to turn the Mi Box off and on to have image.
How do I update mine?
Hello someone can help me, I played the Android pie beta 3 2231 on it, but the screen resolution is only in 480p60hz, the automatic screen resolution is also not my TV is hisense 4k TV new model, unfortunately only 480p60hz. Please help mibox s hdmi not signal
So I got the update, and yeah the Chromecast is not functioning, and for some reason on the Prime Video app, If I watch a certain bollywood film through the app on my device I have english subtitles, but on the MiBox S, it tells me there's no english subtitles.
Sorry to say this but using the manually installed Amazon Prime Video app worked better than this.
Hopefully they fix these issues
[UPDATE] Chromecast is working again, but the issue with the preloaded Prime Video app still stands, thanks to those for suggesting about Clearing the Cache and Data of Chromecast
My Bluetooth speaker lags behind about 0.2 seconds for all media. This is a big problem for me. Does anyone know how to revert back to oreo build?

I have a problem, when I tried to connect to a VPN, for example, Ipvanish or NordVPN, I lose the internet connection and I need to restart the mibox to reconnect. In addition, Disney + detects my real location even using a direct VPN on my router.
I got one yesterday that was bricked out of the box

I have other problem with audio speakers connected via 3.5mm jack. Once MiBox is turned off, I hear bump sounds every 1-5 minutes. I think MiBoxS wakes up to check for updates over the internet that is why I hear this turn on sound bump. This wasn't happening with Android 8...
