I’ve downloaded Chrome’s APK but cannot install to my Mi Box S. Anybody have the same issue?

Try a different chrome apk variant, this is usually some compatability issue with he SoC or SDK level

Most of the apps aren't designed for tv layout. Try puffin tv browser instead.

I've had trouble with other TV boxes installing phone apps from the App Store, the fix for this is finding the right one yourself on APKMirror, I've had to also go and update it myself cause the store will continue installing the wrong one.

Do you have the right version for the cpu I know with the Nvidia Shield TV I install arm64-v8a apks and also use no DPI for the screen resolution

Try installing another version. Probably this version isn't compatible with the Android version in your box.

Install Firefox, firestick version.

Man, lol, so that there are no such problems, just change the tv box to something similar to the one based on Android, for example, to the SwitchOnShop model MAG324. Why torture yourself?

_Mavericks

Install the Beta version.

My now sold MiBox never brought me any joy for emulators. Now that more streaming services are becoming available I kind of miss the little buddy seeing as my 2016 Samsung 4k TV wont get updated.

v7a versions work

Do you have another chrome version installed?

First try to uninstall that old version and then install the new one.

I used edge and it works flawlessly with a keyboard/mouse. And I can download files.

Have you switched on the ability of (whatever app is opening that apk) to install from unknown sources?
