Did anyone receive the promised December update for JBL Link Bar that allows adding it to Google home groups? JBL support mentioned that in a comment on product page.
I am planning to buy that based on the experience with this new update.

Mine does that now, not a firmware update (it's still on security patch from July and the ARC input bug still exists) but the Chromecast built-in app received an update

Mine got that a few weeks ago. I actually just ditched it though in favor of a 2019 Nvidia shield TV and a Yamaha Yas-209. I gotta say the difference is night and day. The YouTube TV app on the shield is roughly 1,000,000x better than on the Linkbar.
