Has emby surpassed plex yet?

I'd still rather use it as a backend for kodi with some kind of nice skin. Currently rocking Aeon MQ8 and it's just gorgeous to look at.

Most important for me:

Does it have a substitle search funcionality? Plex only has it for their plex pass users and i cba to spend 90€ just for it.
