Foe those of you who are tired of switching between apps to watch live TV, I've been trying recently to compile a list of compatible Live Channels apps for AndroidTV users, here is what I have so far:
HDHomeRun (Must have Tuner with antenna or cablecard connected. Comes with free DVR if you enable the Network Tuner (BETA) channels source in the Android Live Channels app. Just as a heads-up, for proper channels guide and listing, do the channels scan through the HDHomeRun Windows program.)
Pluto TV
Red Bull TV
Haystack TV
LocalBTV (Only in Phoenix, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco)
The Weather Network (Only in Canada)
NOT WORKING:
Philo (There was a brief implementation of this at one point, but it is not currently enabled as far I can see. Perhaps the developers will bring it back.)
Sling TV Shows up as a Live Channels source, but states that "This Feature is not yet available."
IPTV apps:
Cumulus TV - For use with individual M3U files
TVIrl - Same as above, but has implementation for auto-refresh of EPG files
FreeviewIPTV - Currently on the Play Store, developer scrubs live streams on official websites and puts them into one app.
