Has anyone had this problem? I did a factory reset on the device twice and every time I try to download an app from the Play Store, it just cycles on 'downloading' and eventually just errors out. Tried LAN, 2.4 and 5.0 networks all with the same results. I'm losing my mind!
Edit thanks for the comments below. I had the a Pi-Hole running on my network and even though the Shield wasn't on the client list, it was still impacting downloading. I reset my router back to factory settings and everything is working as it should be again.
i had that problem with the 2017 Shield and it was my external hard drive that i had set to internal memory. Once i removed the hard drive i was able to download apps again. For me it was the update that broke it.
