I'm a big fan of watching videos at the Pluto.tv website (owned by ViacomCBS). They also have an Android app, which works okay. Neither are 'cast' compatible. Can I watch Pluto.tv videos with a Xiaomi Mi Box S, Shield TV pro, or some other gadget on my big screen 1080p TV? The only way I know to do this would be to use a laptop + HDMI cable; which is not convenient.

Yep. Watch it all the time in my original Mi box
I’m outside the US and it doesn’t show in my google play which I understand but I can’t load the apk either on the mi box with installation failed via side load even using a us VPN server. Anyone got it working?
Edit. At the moment I am using Pluto.tv via chrome on the laptop and it casts to the mi box fine.
I have it on the 1st gen Shield, an old Amazon Fire Stick and both Oculus GO VR and Oculus Quest. All great.
Pluto TV works great on both of those devices.
