Hello everyone, I live in Portugal and just bought a new smart TV, it's not from any major brand, I believe it is white label, once I started it I saw the normal AndroidTV logo and went through the configurations, my problem now is that I cant install certain apps, it comes with it's own "AppStore" but not Google PlayStore, so I used an APK and installed it but now it keeps crashing every time I try to install something. I think this is due to the ZEASN Launcher, the default launcher of the TV, which doesn't even let me access the default android settings, when I click settings it sends me to a settings menu with just a few options, next I installed ATV Launcher through the default app store , and once again when I tried to select device settings it sent me to the ZEASN settings. So basically my questions are.
Can I install a custom ROM? I believe the video board is something like this .
If I do flash a new ROM on it do I violate the warranty? Or is there any other option for me?
I don't think this TV passes Google certification so the play will not work unless someone can provide Google services along with the play store. If someone has created a custom rom you may be able to do something with it but I don't know the model to help you find someone that may have unlocked it.
Best bet unfortunately is to just by a Mi Box
