Honestly geforce now does a great job with this. If you have a shield or you can get into the beta and sideload the app. There are many 2 player pc games you can play

Ultimate Chicken Horse is a fun game. Supports quite a few players. I usually play on the shield remote (not the controller) against my wife so it’s more fair.
