I’ve said it before, why buy a smart sound bar, when you can buy a dumb one and a separate android box? Everyone think it’s stupid with smart TVs, but with TVs you don’t really have a choice to buy a dumb one.
Sound bars are really trash if you like high quality audio. You really need separate speakers to hear the separation.

Not quite an apples to apples comparison. The $600 unit has a 10" subwoofer and the $180 unit is 6.5". The racetrack speakers and tweeters are bigger in the more expensive model too.
The price difference is not just Android TV.
