I don't have any routines for it or anything on Assistant/Home. This problem does not happen with my ShieldTV but somehow every time I try my MiBox it's volume has been set real low.

I have a MiBox S and had a similar issue. I had to disable "Lower volume when listening" for any Assistant devices in the room. For some reason, it would reduce the MiBox volume, and it wouldn't go back to it's previous volume.
