Bluetooth speaker for Sony TV

Hey guys,

I've been wanting to get a soundbar for a while now for my Sony X850E TV however with my current setup I don't have any room to put any soundbars on the entertainment unit. I have been looking at bluetooth speakers instead and I was wondering if there were any which I can control from my TV remote once it's connected to the TV? If controling them with a TV remote can't work, an app will be fine too.

I don't think it will work out for you. Bluetooth is still finnicky right now, do you know if your TV is Aptx-LL enabled? You will get noticeable lag if you don't pair it also with an Aptx-LL enabled bluetooth speaker.

Imo doing the research is too much of a hassle, and you're just better off going with traditional HDMI Soundbar / Speaker setup

Why not use the headphone jack with powered speakers? You will avoid A/V sync issues

I may be wrong, but i do know a few years ago, if you wanted to pair anything Bluetooth with a Sony android tv it had to be proprietary Sony, you cannot just pair any Bluetooth device with it
