There is also a bug on the audio side. I have my Mi Box S connected to a speaker system via analog audio output of 3,5 mm audio jack. After update to Android 9, everytime I switch off the player from remote or when it automatically enters in sleep mode it starts to generate a big noise (hiss) until I power it on again. This did not happen before, with Oreo. Please pass this to the developer team.

Edit: I would like to add something. When all the above described are happening, additionally a popping noise (in the bass especially, like a bump !) is sent to the speakers twice. First time when the TV goes off (I have HDMI-CEC activated) then second time few seconds later, probably when the player switches itself to sleep state. Please forward this too to the developers. Thanks.

Can you please report to the beta testers group that using webcams with apps like TrueConf and Jami is not working correctly because the apps are unable to pick up the webcam's internal microphone?, this is an old problem even with Android Oreo, I thought it was going to be fixed on its own because Android 9 Pie has now native support for webcams, please.

Edit: I just installed the firmware and it looks so far so good, but I really need the webcam issue to be fixed.

Can you also please report that the Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital conversion is NOT working with "Auto" audio setting but ONLY with S/PDIF?, it should work with "Auto" too. Thanks.

Can you please post to the Facebook group that dualshock 4 controllers are still not working. Thank you.

HDR is not working for me in Plex and Amazon Prime.

When having connected an keyboard with usb dongle, voice search (mic) and onscreen keyboard aren't working!

Edit: Adding the dongle after reboot does the job for now, but every reboot with dongle connected messes the before mentioned stuff.

And also Mi Box still claims HDMI port on some devices. When connected to my Samsung home theatre running on HDMI1 and i switch to HDMI2, it always switches back HDMI1! That problem should be well known from all releases and Mi Box 3/4 yet.

Please someone report in beta group. Thanks

Am facing two problems:

  1. Option to select 4K 60fps is not available
  2. Netflix UHD is not available.

Anybody else facing this issue?
