TIL about Smart YouTube TV. Thanks!
i hate how youtube is buring the subscription tab..
at least.. i dont see ads here.. i dont know how.. but still get tons of ads on one video.. youtube trying too hard to be as bad as regular tv.
edit: btw this is the new interface for smarttvs too
Modern Vintage Gamer and Louis Rossman. I can see someone is a man of culture. Yeah they need to resize that ad though if you're not paying for premium
Btw, shout-out to Modern Vintage Gamer! Such a good channel!
YouTube updated on my girlfriend's Roku TV and it updated on my SHIELD. What I find to be annoying is on her tv the subscription buttons are exactly where they should be (where I like them) but ever since it got updated on SHIELD they are pretty much at the bottom. I don't care about Music, Movies, and all the other junk. I want customizable sections.
How do I install it on mi box?
You'd like ring fit
I also love the extra clicks to get to my subscription tab.
BTW uninstalling all updates and then reinstalling, got me the old ui Back, but who knows for how long.
Smart YouTube TV doesn't block this ad yet-- there's actually a github issue open for it, and the developer suggested using the old UI, which isn't available anymore. You can avoid it by going straight to the subscriptions tab in SYTV instead, which is probably where you want to be anyway.
I just downloaded Smart Youtube TV. I play a video which works fine but when I go to play another it crashes and goes back to the Android home screen :(
Is there any way to fix this? (I'm using a Shield)
EDIT: I had it on 4K video quality but it doesn't seem to be an issue with 1080p. Hopefully this gets fixed.
Google knows you need to exercise
Ad-free YouTube is my JAM.
Hey, be happy that YouTube actually launches on your TV. My shit crashes every second and 5 seconds into a video FUCK YOU IMA LOCK UP EVERYTHING!
Or maybe just pay to remove ads and make sure some money is going to YouTube creators?
What about blockada 4
Been years since I've seen ads by just paying for Google Play Music.
