How to get this beta?
Could you test if dualshock 4 controllers are working with 9? On oreo they would only work wired.

I downloaded and installed the earlier version and it didn't work for me. This one (Beta 3) is working flawlessly so far. =)
EDIT: Same install instructions as the other. Copy to a flash drive formatted FAT32. Power on your Mi Box into recovery mode by holding the "back" and "enter" buttons while plugging in the power cable. I did a factory reset, then installed the update.zip . Finally I did one more factory reset, and rebooted system. It took about 3 minutes to come up to the initial setup screen. =)
For the price i really enjoy Mi Box S, hope to see some improvements with Android P.
Contrary to the Oreo betas, this is actually a pretty decent build for being the first beta. So far pretty stable, but I did notice a bug with YouTube. Occasionally when I playback a video, the video is vertical for some reason. But exiting out and playing the video again will display the correct aspect ratio. Other than that, so far so good.

Just updated and chromecast stopped working. I cannot send YouTube videos (or any other content) from my phone. I tried to kill the chromecast service and restart the device and it isn't working :/

Can any beta tester confirm if casting works without any audio lag on the Pie beta??
For me, on Oreo, all casting has audio delay (youtube, netflix, dlna...). Normal Android apps play ok though.
From Oreo 8.1 I flahsed this update, the process had no errors but after rebooting I'm stuck in the boot screen, any idea why? Thank you!!
I wonder if there's any chance for DTS and Dolby digital to work when you have an optical cable as part of the link to your audio receiver.

I did factory reset after clean install, i re-paired remote control more than once, i re-granted microphone access to all apps, but it's still not working for me. :-( Don't want to factory reset everything again and again. Where is that magic app to get mic and keyboard input again?

Official Prime! The biggest upgrade for me in the new Beta is the Prime app is now an included app (can be disabled but can't be uninstalled).
