Any way to integrate dth (set-up box) and Android tv?

I've a stock Android 9.0 tv, the issue is having to deal with 2 remotes in 2019. Is there a way to deal with the set-up box channels inside the Android ui or make one remote do it all? Both tv and set-up box remotes are ir based. How do you guys deal with this?

Buy a universal remote.

Get the IR Blaster and put it in front of the STB. You will be able to control both the devices using a single remote.
