Isn't there like 100 or so apps in the store? I feel like whenever I search for something same results keep coming up. So a redesign seems kind of unnecessary.

Guess it's good news that Google hasn't given up on Android TV. I'm nervous they will release another TV OS and abandon the current one.

I’ve been waiting forever for this redesign, the current play store is pretty bare bones as is, apparently it has over 5000 apps but looks like it holds no more than 100+, sadly this new redesign seems to be a server side update so I haven’t received it yet 😫 guess I’ll have to wait a bit more to use it, can’t hardly wait, those screenshots at the very least have given me some optimism 🙂
Yo, is anyone else still waiting on this? My 2015 Shield TV is still stuck on the old Play Store, curious if anyone else is still having that issue. I even tried to sideload the newest APK from APKmirror, but I'm still seeing the old Play Store.
Because taking actual screenshots (not pics) on a device is too hard?
So I think this is server side... as usual of Google cuz I have the same Version number and PR but no new change.
