EDIT: meant Oreo (8) , not Pie (9)... my bad, I forgot how far behind TV on Android updates compared to my phone.
Anyone else waiting for OTA to be released?
I live in Finland and I've been checking system updates ~once a week, and still there isn't OTA update.
Is sony this bad with updates?
Automatic updates should be continued in May , and it's September now
They only just rolled out Android 8 Oreo earlier this year and not all D models (2016) got it - I know cause mine didn't. My F and G models (2018 and 2019) are only 8 Oreo as well.
Haven't seen any leaks about Sony upgrading to Android TV to 9 Pie as yet but I doubt D models will get it when it does happen as they're too old
