Low-end: 85 Euros
High-end: 170 Euros with Dolby Vision + HDR10 support
Will it have Netflix 4K?
What a confusing title.
My first thought was why anyone would want to run Android on such an outdated kernel design .
I hope these specs hold up as this could be the first sub $100 AndroidTV box with native gigabit ethernet. This has long since been the missing link for these sub $100 boxes to be able to directly playback full 4k videos over the network.
Assuming that was the retail box it was sitting on, doesn’t the remote appear to be the same as the previous Minix models?
Wow interesting.
Hopefully bit of an upgrade over the Mecool KM9 Pro.
Check the certified box they show and compare the ports placements & global design with an Ematic Jetstream.
That's the same. So I guess the box is a DV8535 by SDMC with their branding.
Looks good, would like to have seen 4GB and BT5, but at least it's fully certified
Yeah..but no.
No Netflix certification means it's not worth the plastic of the casing.
HDMI 2.1 and only 4k/60? Is that some limitation of android?
Just save up some money and buy shield..
Certified Netflix?
IME they made garbage Android boxes with HUGE antennas ugly remotes, I'm sure this will be amazing .
Minix were the best at making the original Android boxes, before Android TV became available. This could be excellent and they have fantastic support updates etc.
