Can I use Split screen on Android TV 9.0?

I have Smart Box with Android TV 9.0.

I enabled Developer options and option at the bottom but even after restart every app still says "This app doesn't support split screen".

Is there a way I can force it? Because Developer options did nothing.

Thanks in advance, I would really like to use this feature.

And yes, there is also Picture in Picture feature that's not working as well. It should work on Chrome and YouTube (I sideloaded both apps).

Did you enable "Force activities to be resizable" ? If so and it still doesn't work, it may be a ROM limitation

You might be able to get split screen on Reddit by installing BaconReader

Why not just use Android and not Android TV? I have a TV box and split screen works fine, but I dont have Android TV installed. I have a Khadas VIM2 box, so to be fair, it is not just your average TV box, its a tiny computer, lol.
