Get a dedicated media box (like the Nvidia shield), and disconnect your TV from the internet entirely
Can you give more info exactly? Which kind of ads? Can you share pictures?
Try blokada, you can sideload the apk. Not sure if it will help out of the box but if it doesn't you can block where the ads are coming from with the blacklist
Pi-hole and/or dont give your TV access to the internet.
Wow that is appalling! Can you pin point when they started? When you updated firmware, or installed a new app maybe? Try side loading an adblocker app such as adguard or adblock plus that should hopefully fix the problem.
