Disney are creating lobby groups to make it illegal to share stream services' accounts.

My opinion is: Fuck them.

No Samsung TVs (Tizen) or LG TVs (WebOS) either.

I really hope that "Android TV" doesn't JUST mean Nvidia Shield. I hope it includes the Xiaomi Mi box as well.

App or just casting?

Also, 4k/HDR/Atmos?

At launch, you’ll be able to stream Disney+ on these platforms and products:

  • Apple TV (tvOS)
  • Android mobile devices
  • Android TV
  • Chromecast
  • Desktop web browsers
  • iPad (iPadOS)
  • iPhone (iOS)
  • PlayStation 4
  • Roku streaming players
  • Roku TV
  • Xbox One
Andrroid

One more feather in the cap for Disney+.

Hopefully the app is good.

Why wouldn't you be able to sideload the Android TV app onto Fire TV?

Cross fingers Disney are not stupid enough to encode their 4K HDR content in Google's Royalty Free - VP9 Profile 2 - which the Shield and Apple TV 4K cannot decode.
