As some have pointed out the HDhomerun is a be pricey but man is good. I have one I found a used for for around $35 and it works really well.
I think only the Nvidia shield has drivers for USB tuners.
What I recommend us buying the appropriate HDHomeRun for DVB and using that over your home network instead of the USB tuner, HDHomeRun are good devices and work with Android TV Live Channels.
