Any updates about the official Prime Video app for Android TV? From July casting is available but I still prefer using my Mi Box S indipendently from my smartphone. I really want a native app on the Play Store and I'm too lazy to install the APK. I'm still waiting the official release

Why don't you just download it from aptoide? I use that one and it works fine.
I see it in Play Store on my Sony Android TV, in Czech Republic.
I have the Prime Video app on my Sony TV. If anyone can point me in the direction of how to successfully extract the apk, I'll post it up here.
EDIT - should add that I'm in the UK. Don't know if that'll make any kind of difference.

Mi Box S UK here, still nothing for me in the Play Store. I agree, casting is ok but still I would rather use the native app. I've tried installing it from aptoide but it doesn't work at all for me.
I have the Hisense H8F and received an OS update yesterday morning (J0722) and it included Amazon Prime Video.
If it competes with an Amazon product, they wont give it Prime app.. they wanna lock yeh all down. The only reason the ShieldTV has it is because for its price/performance Amazon is offering nothing, so its not really competing with em in the least.. However a $50 android box? they want yeh to buy a FireStick 4k instead, don't hold your breath for an official release.
Their press releases gave the impression that they would be releasing an APK for all Android devices.
