I would really love to be able to share video links of videos I'm watching on Android TV to my contacts, or at least to my phone. Anything exist to do this? I often find myself discovering content (usually YouTube) and want to share it to contacts quickly. At the moment, I find myself having to open the YouTube app and the history section and sharing the video from there
Great idea but I don't tthink there is any way other than what you are currently doing.

You can download an app called dlna server that should allow you to stream your movies and photos to any device that can connect to dlna. Or you could buy the ravpower Filehub device.
That's your only feasible option. Especially because the Youtube on Android Tv doesn't have a share button, which makes sense.
