I'm looking for a Android TV box that when you press the power button on the remote it actually turns off and doesn't go into sleep mode. Any recommendations?

I have 3 NAS's and they always run 24/7, that is the purpose. I also have a WD powered external HD connected to my Asus router, and an external 8 TB HD that is connected to one of my microPC's. All these devices run 24/7 because they are part of my media server system.
In the old days, it was recommended to power off your HDD's after each use (what a pain back in the DOS days with IBM computers), but the last I read (been a few years), it was recommended to leave the HDD's running 24/7. From my understanding, leaving those HDDs running does NOT shorten the life span. Also, they don't draw a lot of power.....
Just use a USB hub with power switch for each port like this: https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-4-Port-Individual-Switches-HB-UMLS/dp/B00BWF5U0M
Eject your external drive first in settings and switch off the USB port when you're done using harddrive. Next time you just need to flip the switch on to mount the drive again. No need to repeatedly plug & unplug harddrive.
Very few home AV devices actually turn off anymore. Why would you want it to turn completely off. If it did you would have to wait thru the entire boot process every time you wanted to use it. When they are in sleep mode the use VERY little power, usually less than an LED night light which is basically negligible. That said, I do have some TV's with attached streaming devices in our spare bedrooms that are very rarely used. For those I keep both the TV and the streaming devices plugged into a power strip that I only turn on when we have guests that will be using those rooms.
