I have a Win 10 NUC hard wired into my network. I open the Chrome browser on my Bravia and install the Chrome Remote Desktop extension but when I try to connect through my Pixelbook it never opens. Eventually it says something about disconnecting all extensions. I'm not doing that so I give up and uninstall. The old app version worked well on my old "stupid" TV but the new web version doesn't work on my new "smart" TV.
Chrome remote poops out on me all the time. I hate it but I use it because teamviewer banned me from using my work computer to log into my home computer. Sometimes when I try to connect with Chrome it works perfectly, most of the time unless I just reset the computer I am trying to log into it fails to connect. I dono why, the app they used to use is so much more reliable. Frustrating
