AirTV Mini (Hide Sling)

Hi All:

I was able to hide Sling app, and stop it (mostly) from auto-booting, thought I would share:

ADB Shell ->" pm disable-user --user 0 com.sling.airtvmini"

I then downloaded Launch on Boot and selected an App (Plex) to start, becuase otherwise it shows the Sling Splash Screen, and appears to freeze looking for the app to launch, launch on boot worked to by pass it (did not work w/o disabling the app above).

If anyone has a way to just launch into the home screen instead of app, that would be appreciated.

It might not be installed. You could try installing it from APKMirror , and set launch on boot to launch it. Since it installs itself as a launcher, you might not even need launch on boot.

Figured I would add to this thread instead of starting a new one for AirTVMini users:

Button Remapper app let me remap the SlingTV Button to youtubeTV (or whatever you'd like) no problem, working on seeing if I can see if youtubetv has any "actions" that I could map the Guide and Recall (currently changed to last app) buttons to.

Device works great when Traveling, only a couple visual tweaks (would like to change boot screen) like above and I'll finally let it rest.
