Mibox S has no IR receiver.
I use a Logitech Harmony remote with my Mi Box S. I had to set it up as a Nexus Player in the Harmony app. And then on MI Box, connect the remote via Bluetooth. Works great
I have one, didn't see a IR port. The remote provided is pairing over Bluetooth.
No, but you can use the Android TV App on your phone
It's sad but without IR it's impossible to turn on MiBox from Google Home :( MiBox allows adding bluetooth control that can wake up the device but I can't find any bluetooth app that could be used as action in Google home.
It's simple. I just wish could say "ok Google turn on mibox tv" but It's asking too much :(
You can add IR support with a FLIRC.
