If you're talking about testing the speed of your network, you can side load the ookla speed test android app. Works for me. You'll need access to a wireless mouse to press the start button, but that's the only hurtle to overcome.
I used the speedtest app. Obviously it doesnt give you your local network speeds but I could see that if I got 30 down on the internet my local streams would also be fine.
